This year we will continue to participate in the Eco-Schools initiative and hope to become a Green School by the end of the year. As part of this, Mrs Gilmour leads a group of ‘Eco-Warriors’!
Our Eco-Warrior group is made up of representatives of each Key Stage Two class and meet at least once every half term. The Eco-Warriors lead on making our school a more eco-friendly place and remind all children and staff of how to support us to be more global citizens. We will continue with our focus on reducing our electricity use, saving water and recycling paper and every lunchtime a member of the eco group checks that each classroom is following the guidance we have outlined. The Eco-Warriors do a very important job and remind us all that we need to take care of our environment and do all we can to protect our world for the future.
